Overview

Analysing data is complicated and presents challenges in tracking progress and identifying trends. Corius, Servelec’s Business Intelligence tool, helps local authorities to transform key data into easily insightful and timely information to give a clear view across social care and integrated services.

A joined up approach with access to quality data is vital to improving the delivery of social care services. Corius supports local authorities to easily view pressure points and trends across their services, to target resources in the right
place, at the right time to improve outcomes.

Key benefits

  • Identify pressure points to help target resources in the right place at the right time to improve outcomes
  • Gain insight into distinct groups to help identify trends
  • Gain a better understanding of the needs, or areas, in order to deliver more effective case management
  • Create dashboards using the simple ‘drag and drop’ feature without requiring specialist technical knowledge

“Dashboards in Corius show simple but valuable information. Showing outstanding reviews in a graphical format allows them to be acted on by social care workers quickly and easily.”

-Orhan Ismail, Interim Head of Operational Systems and Development, Family Operations, Essex County Council

Delivering the big picture

Corius is a flexible business intelligence tool that easily integrates with Servelec’s case management

solution, Mosaic, to deliver the big picture and provides a clear view of what is happening across

your local authority’s services. A key advantage of Corius is that it enables users from team level up, with the right permissions, to build and manage their own dashboards and extract from various databases.

Key features

  • Drill into the data at case level – where users have permission levels set up
  • User friendly application - easy to use tools including ‘drag and drop’ enabling access to data in a variety of different ways
  • Dashboard designer - provides the level of detail needed so that users can design and create reports to their own specifications and share them with other users
  • Simplicity of building reports - the flexibility to choose how to display your data from a range of charts, maps and data grids
  • Automated distribution of reports – to deliver intelligence when needed
  • Extract information from multiple datasets - for example in Mosaic, Synergy or RiO, or from merged data sources to display information on a single dashboard

All access to the relevant information is provided based on the granular role based security access used in Mosaic, ensuring users can only see anonymised data where appropriate.

Sharing information, improving care

With the features available in Corius, local authorities can transform data into easily understandable formats to help monitor and investigate performance indicators through the;

  • Creation of dashboards using data from multiple sources from across your community
  • Integration of partner information providing a single view of the family
  • Granular permissions to support information sharing protocols
  • Dashboards to support live reporting
  • Group based recording
  • Pre-population of data for all MASH agencies
  • Configurability to meet local requirements

Corius offers Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Dashboards which shows all active MASH cases including RAG ratings, partner information sharing requests and their status and timescales for decision making.

The dashboards shows the cases broken down by open status with one click drilldown to child level data summarising contact details, information shared by agencies; including their analysis of the risk rating.

The information is published using the related permissions structure, allowing all partner agencies to work together efficiently and effectively while maintaining data security.
