Salary Range: Up to £23,000
We are looking for graduates to join our Controls business and you will undertake a wide range of tasks related to the design, implementation and delivery of Real-time Information Systems solutions, principally in the Oil & Gas industry.
Servelec Controls specialises in the provision of full turnkey solutions for a wide range of industrial control and monitoring applications. Our business focus is in the oil & gas and power industries.
Key aspects of the business carried out from the Aberdeen office:
* Designing, building and deploying solutions using Real-time Information Systems.
* Support and long term development and maintenance of clients’ systems.
* Working in-house and on client sites in Aberdeen area.
What will you be doing?
Produce Design Specifications.
Develop and execute Test Specifications.
Develop and configure solutions based on Real-time Information Systems (principally using the OSIsoft PI System).
Investigate and resolve problems with Real-time Information Systems.
Operate in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
What will you need to succeed?
Degree or HND in a computing related subject.
Experience of programming using Microsoft .NET technologies
Experience of Database Systems including Microsoft SQL Server
Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable interacting with others and able to instil confidence.
Able to take direction from senior colleagues.
Flexible, co-operative and enthusiastic attitude to work.
Interested in continuous improvement and an enthusiastic learner.
Confident and calm under pressure.
Not afraid to admit mistakes.
Appreciate the need to deliver technical requirements while achieving time and budget constraints.
Comfortable balancing multiple pieces of work and ensuring that deadlines are considered.
